Please ask your DJ ………

Any Professional Wedding DJ will have wireless microphones for toast, Introductions, etc. Please ask your DJ what Frequency his/her wireless microphones are running on.

(Why would I ask my DJ that??)

During the past year the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) has been talking about taking over the 700MHZ band  to be used by public safety entities (such as police, fire and emergency services) and by commercial providers of wireless services(such as wireless broadband services). Starting on June 12th, 2010 all wireless microphones transmitting over the 700MHZ band will be PROHIBITED. If they are running on the 700MHZ band(Anything from 698MHZ to 806 MHZ) they are breaking the law and more importantly ……. during your wedding reception while the MC is speaking the police or fire dept could broadcast right over his/her speakers. Your wedding day is one of the most important days in your life. Please make sure your DJ is prepared for this FCC change!!
